The London Gypsy and Traveller Unit is taking a major step forward in its evolution, changing its name, branding and website. From April 2017, the organisation will be known as London Gypsies and Travellers.
At the same time, it is updating its logo and launching a completely new website – designed to communicate with the Gypsy and Traveller community and the public in a modern and effective manner.
“This is a major step forward for the organisation, and marks a time of change and new ambitions,” said Chief Executive Officer Debby Kennett. “We want to be more effective in telling the world and our community about what we do, and about the significant issues facing Gypsies and Travellers living in London.”
The new name, logo and website is the result of months of research, consultation and production. They aim to reflect the forward momentum of the community and the organisation and their determination to achieve change and challenge discrimination. The new website is mobile friendly, and integrates with London Gypsies and Travellers’ social media communications.
The new website address is www.londongypsiesandtravellers.org.uk and the new email address is info@londongandt.org.uk
