London Gypsies and Travellers launches a new tool for writing to the London Assembly to demand a voice for Gypsies and Travellers in City Hall.
At the London Gypsy and Traveller Forum hustings event in March, representatives of the Green Party, Liberal Democrats, Conservative Party and Labour Party responded to the Forum Manifesto and heard the first hand experiences of Gypsy and Traveller Londoners facing prejudice, marginalisation and neglect.
As the Mayor of London and London Assembly Members start a new term this month, LGT hopes to see real action from City Hall in representing Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities and improving quality of life.
The letter template below supports Gypsies and Travellers to email all 25 London Assembly Members and ask them to pledge support for the London Gypsy and Traveller Manifesto.
LGT also created an email tool for allies of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities which can be found here.
